Entrepreneur Immigration

To qualify as an Entrepreneur immigrant, you must prove that:

  1. You have "Business Experience" as described below;

  2. You have a Net Worth of $300,000 CDN.  This can include your home, business, property, bank deposits and investments in Canada.

  3. You agree that for a period of at least one year within the first three years after you land, you intend and will be able to:
    1. own at least 33 1/3% of a qualifying Canadian Business;

    3. create at least one additional full-time job in that business.

"Business Experience"

You can qualify for Business Experience if you prove that you have owned part or all of a qualifying business and managed all or part of that business.  The smaller share that you own of the business, the larger the business must be to qualify.  (see business experience in Investor Category) - however unlike the Investor category, senior managers who do not own any part of the business cannot qualify.
