To qualify as an Entrepreneur immigrant, you must prove that:
You can qualify for Business Experience if you prove that you have owned part or all of a qualifying business and managed all or part of that business. The smaller share that you own of the business, the larger the business must be to qualify. (see business experience in Investor Category) - however unlike the Investor category, senior managers who do not own any part of the business cannot qualify.
"Conditional Visas" As an entrepreneur immigrant, you and all of your family members, are given a conditional visa. Within three years of arriving in Canada (known as "landing"), you must prove that you have invested in and managed a qualifying business for at least one year. If you do not prove this within the three year period, you and your family members could have your visa cancelled. |
