" Ed Bowes obtained his LL.B. from the Faculty of Law of the University of British Columbia in 1971, and then was awarded a British Commonwealth Scholarship that helped him to obtain his LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1972.

TAO CHENG, LLB, Engineer
Tao is an associate with Thompson Cooper LLP.. He received his law and materials engineering degrees from the University of Alberta. Tao was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2008.
As an engineering student, he was involved in numerous research projects including the computer modeling and design of fuel cells. Damir Karaturovic,
is a commercial lawyer who specializes in intellectual property law. With his degree in biochemistry and his experience working as in-house counsel for a local software company, Damir has practiced IP law dealing with pharmaceutical patents and software licensing agreements. He now also practices general corporate law and can help young companies protect their IP assets and lay the foundation for a proper, functioning business.
